Be prepeared with your camera:
Try to use automatic bracket exposure preset
3 pictures with 1 stop in between them
this gives one usable shot
but uses up batteries and memory

Protect yourself (scarf long)
hide camera
as a blanket
a pillow (for camera too)
å towel
againt the sun (head)
against dust (head)
Moving pictures
Sometimes you have to take photo from someting moving ….
Like a fast boat or a ferry, this might requiere a fast shutter speed and paning technic use of the camera. to track other boats or other moving subjects
Continious focusing mode and shoot many shots so one might be sharp.
